'Quite the Rescue': Firefighters Airlift Injured Hiker in California State Park
Firefighters froin Pescadero, California, conducted “quite the rescue” airlifting an injured hiker from deep within the Butano State Park, footage released on Thursday, April 25, showed.According to Cal Fire, the injured hiker was deep in the woods, requiring them to forge a path through the trees with a truck and ATV until they could no longer proceed by vehicle and continued on foot.Cal Fire said they used a hoist to pluck the hiker through the tall canopy and get him to safety by helicopter.“That’s serious dedication to get to their patient. Bayer shareholder Deka Investment said on Friday it would not join other large investors in supporting the healthcare and agriculture group's management at its annual general meeting.
