SEOUL (Reuters) -Authorities entered impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk's compund on Friday to execute an unprecedented arrest warrant, evading a crowd of protesters outside, but were confronted with presidential security forces inside. Dollar headed for best week since November on US rates, economic outlook
Ahead of U.S. President-elect Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, markets have taken his impending return to office with caution due to uncertainty over his plans for hefty import tariffs, tax cuts and immigration restrictions. "As far as the euro zone's concerned, there could be the direct impact of higher trade tariffs on the euro zone or (its) economies, but even perhaps more pertinently, the higher tariffs on China, which will also sort of be that weakness in the euro zone," said Kyle Rodda, senior financial market analyst at Capital.com.
