McDermott, who originally shot to fame as a contestant on Love Island, recently reached week six on Strictly Come Dancing.Of their bright-looking future, brand expert Nick Ede told MailOnline: "With Zara by his side [Thompson's] now part of a power couple who I can see making millions from everything from joint podcasts, reality spin off shows following them both.
"There is also the chance to do more documentaries like the one he’s done for Channel Four on ADHD and she’s done many for BBC Three.
"Together they can really power up in many areas. Adverts. Social media campaigns, fashion and fitness, autobiography, charity campaigns and awareness and reality shows too."
Ede also predicted that something lucrative could come from Thompson's unlikely friendship in the jungle with boxer Tony Bellew.
He suggested that they could do "a road trip old couple style show. Learning about each others lives as they are so different but a great friendship."
