'He Would Have Been Lunch': Gator Snaps at Kid From Behind Zoo Glass

A mother on a visit to Wildlife World Zoo in Litchfield Park, Arizona, with her son caught his shocked reaction when an alligator lunged at him from behind protective glass.

In footage shared to TikTok by Stephanie Kifner on November 27, her son can be seen pressed up against the glass as the reptile makes its way toward him, before snapping at the youngster.

“My son was startled but absolutely okay,” Kifner told Storyful. Sharing the footage to TikTok, Kifner wrote “this hurt my heart so bad” adding that if the glass wasn’t there her her “son would have been lunch”. Credit: Stephanie Kifner via Storyful
