This classic Chevy C10 pickup truck shows its style with a driver-focused build.

The Chevrolet pickup truck is one of America's favorite vehicles in modern times and the past. Classic trucks, in particular, have an excellent reputation for being easy to work on, reliable, and beautiful. Vintage vehicles like this have certain desirability surrounding them as they show off what designers could do in a time when sleek swooping body lines and rounded fenders were the norms. This quintessential old-school design is made even better by the addition of some modern technology under the hood. For this classic Chevy truck, it's all about going fast and looking good doing it.

Under the hood of this gorgeous 1956 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck is a mighty 6.0-liter Chevy LS2. This engine has been left mostly stock and currently produces power in the mid 400 horsepower range. Under the car sits a complete set of Ridetech air suspensions controlled by an Airlift control system. Wilwood brakes accompany every corner of this incredible truck, and the custom side exhaust gives the car an excellent sound as it rips up and down the streets of LA. At the same time, the air suspension does allow for a comfortable ride on the freeway, as this truck looks stunning when it's touching the grass.

The exterior is coated in a Vulcan gray metallic paint job, allowing the wheels and LED headlights to pop. The black leather interior was perfectly color-matched to fit the rest of the truck and give a very subtle look to the entire build. This truck is perfect for the owner because his goal was to make a fun daily driver take to the auto show. Overall, the car came out exactly how the builder wanted it, and we love it. Every detail fits the individual personality driving this beast, which is what cars are supposed to be.
