Low-cost gym opens new location in Sacramento. Here’s where and how much for a membership

Chuze Fitness opened on Florin Road, according to its website, its second location in the Sacramento area.

The gym opened its first location last fall in Citrus Heights in the Marketplace at Birdcage shopping center.

The new location features more than 34,000 square feet of workout space, new equipment and weekly classes.

All members get access to amenities such as cardio and strength training equipment, and Chuze Cinema where you can work out while watching a movie. Depending on your membership, you can also get group exercise classes, infrared sauna and guest privileges.

The gym opening has been pending since 2019, according to the Sacramento Business Journal, as it posted job ads for the location. The spot is a former 24-Hour Fitness location.

The manager of the location could not be reached immediately for comment.

Prices

Chuze memberships have four tiers with added amenities for more cost.

Starting at $9.99 per month for a 13-month commitment, you can get a Basic membership. Premium membership is $24.99, More membership is $39.99 and Kids and More is $49.99.

There’s no enrollment fee but there is an annual fee of $49.99.

Hours

The gym is open 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday; and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.
