Love, Victor's future has finally been confirmed after season 2 ended on a massive cliffhanger. The Hulu original, which streams on Disney+ in the UK, has been renewed for season 3, reports TVLine.

What started as a continuation of the 2018 film Love, Simon, the coming-of-age series has now gained a life of its own as it follows Victor Salazar (Michael Cimino), a gay teenager attempting to navigate his sexuality and life in a new town.

In season one, we also got to meet Victor’s mother Isabel (Ana Ortiz) and his father Armando (James Martinez), his siblings Pilar (Isabella Ferreira) and Adrian (Mateo Fernandez), his best friend Felix (Anthony Turpel) and his boyfriend Benji (George Sear).

The second season (which was released in June of this year) introduced a new wild card character in the form of Rahim (Anthony Keyvan), a new love interest for Victor who threatened his relationship with Benji.

After being torn between the two for the entirety of the season, in the finale, Victor finally made a choice and walked up to the house of one of the boys saying only "Hi" with a smile. But, of course, this being a finale, the show didn't show us whose house it was, ending season 2 on a massive cliffhanger.

According to showrunner Elizabeth Berger, there's no way fans will be able to figure this mystery out before the start of season 3 either.

"There's very, very little to say there without really giving something away that we're not going to give away," she told Entertainment Weekly.

"But I will say our production team and our director, Jason Ensler, took great, great pains to make sure to obscure how that ending was shot, which guy's house we are at.

"Because those are locations we visit throughout the season, and they really shot it in what I thought was an incredibly clever and careful way, so I don't think there's any way for viewers to figure out or get ahead of the story."

Berger went on to tease: "So whatever you think you've figured out, you haven't figured out whose house it is."

Love, Victor seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
