Love Island's Olivia Hawkins responds to rumours she's split from Maxwell Samuda

Love Island's Olivia Hawkins has spoken out about split rumours surrounding her boyfriend Maxwell Samuda.

Speculation that the couple is no more has mounted after Maxwell jetted off to Mexico without his partner.

The pair hit it off after meeting during the most recent season of Love Island, and their romance has continued since leaving the villa.

Split rumours first plagued the couple when Maxwell was spotted partying with fellow Love Islander Zara Lackenby-Brown, whom Olivia clashed with during her time on the show.

Olivia was then seen attending the premiere of Marlowe solo.

Despite the rumours, Olivia has insisted the pair are still together and said that things between the couple are "really good".

Speaking to Gogglebox stars Joe and George Baggs on their podcast, Not My Bagg, Olivia gave fans an update on her relationship.

"There have been rumours that we split up. I went to the football and he went to an event, but no we’re literally fine," she said. "We’re really good, cool, calm, collected. He’s a good guy and he treats me nice."

Elsewhere, fellow Islanders Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook have announced they have split just days after leaving the villa.

In an Instagram Q&A on his Stories, Casey made the revelation after one fan asked the reality star, explaining: "Rosie and I have spoken… she's a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward."

Olivia predicted the split in a conversation with Digital Spy, in which she said she did not think the couple would last outside of the show.

"After seeing one of the episodes the other night, I'm not too sure [about Casey and Rosie]. I think they're both amazing people, but I just think maybe Casey will stray," she said following her exit.

"I hate to say that, but I think his head turns quite quickly, so I'm not too sure what will happen on the outside. I hope it will [last], but I don't think so."
