Love Island's Ekin-Su and Davide confirm they're getting their own TV show

It's been a few weeks since the finale of Love Island 2022 and it's safe to say we've had an Ekin-Su shaped hole in our lives since then. Thankfully, it seems we wont have to wait too long until this year's winner is back on our screens as Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and partner Davide Sanclimenti just confirmed they're getting their own TV show. Yay!

Sharing the news on Channel 4’s Big Breakfast with AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan, Davide revealed: "Yes I can tell you this. We are going on a road trip to Italy and Turkey, for one week in Italy and one week in Turkey."

He went on, "We are going to be on ITV2 and it’s going to be like our own programme."

Chiming into the conversation, Ekin-Su said: "It’ll be all real fighting, he’ll be cooking for me, I’ll be cooking for him."

"It’ll be two cultures, meeting families," she added of what the new series will involve.

Sadly, there's no official release date for the new show – or any further details, like what it'll be titled – but during an Instagram Live later that day, Davide seemingly hinted that the series could be hitting TV screens later this year, adding that we should keep our eyes peeled around "the end of September."

Understandably, Love Island fans were pretty excited to hear the news, with one taking to Twitter to say: "This is what we needed".

We! Can't! Wait!
