We might have been silently grieving the end of Love Island 2022 for the past week. But, hey, it's not all bad, as this year's Love Island Reunion arrived to (partially) fill the villa-shaped hole in our hearts.

This year's Islander get-together saw viewers all making the same complaint about the show, while contestant Jacques O'Neill was notably absent. And, as expected, the 2022 Reunion was *filled* with awkward moments - with Summer Botwe and Coco Lodge's argument taking the top spot.

To recap, the episode saw Summer and Coco getting into a frosty back-and-forth on camera, with co-host Darren Harriott even stepping in to shut things down. But what were the pair actually arguing about?

We'll be honest, this all developed pretty quickly on camera, so we'll forgive you for being a bit confused.

It all started with co-host Darren asking if any of the Islanders had been seeing each other since leaving the villa, with Billy Brown revealing, "Where do I start? There’s been a few." Summer then jumped in to say, "I know someone who wishes they would have gotten with someone," appearing to refer to Coco.

It's thought Summer was hinting towards Coco's recent appearance on TikToker Grace Barry's Saving Grace podcast, in which she said she was "annoyed" she didn't sleep with fellow Islander Josh Samuel Le Grove. Summer and Josh were coupled up when they left the villa together, with the pair continuing to get to know each other on the outside world.

Coco told podcast listeners, "I’m actually annoyed because I feel like I could have [slept with him] now. Talking to him now after I’m like, I feel like it could have happened." She went on, "He was like ‘Oh I’m horny’, and I was like, 'Right I’m gonna take myself to bed.' But I don’t know why I did that because sorry, he’s so fit." [via The Independent].

Back on the Reunion show, Coco responded to Summer's comment saying, "It's just banter. If you can't handle a big personality, don't go on reality TV."

Summer then replied, "Friends don’t say certain things hun, but alright," with Coco adding, "Ok, well he's been moving mad."

Co-host Darren stepped in to shut the chat down, with Summer then telling viewers, "I just wanna clarify, I don’t fight over anyone because there’s no competition."

Meanwhile fellow Islander Dami Hope took to Twitter to address the argument, writing, "Nah that was mid compared to what happened."

Here's hoping Summer and Coco are on good terms.
