Love Island fans couldn't cope with Hugo's reaction to Toby loyalty question

Love Island fans couldn't cope with the look on Hugo Hammond's face when Laura Whitmore asked Abi Rawlings if she thought Toby Aromolaran was loyal.

The time has come. No, not for our best Lucinda Stratford impression, but for the first recoupling following Casa Amor. After the boys headed to a separate villa for three days, and the girls were joined by six new boys, it's time for the original 12 to make their decisions.

During last night's episode [29 July], we watched Chloe Burrows and Hugo Hammond both choose to recouple. Chloe chose 24-year-old Dale Mehmet, while Hugo picked Amy Day.

After the new pairs had sat down, it was Abi and Toby's turn. During the recoupling, Laura Whitmore asked Abi if she thought Toby was a loyal person. "I mean, with my experience of him personally, I can't fault him. But I'd like to say he's learnt from a few of his past mistakes," Abi replied.

The camera then cut to Hugo, who was struggling to keep a straight face. Not only because he knows what Toby had done in Casa Amor (aka coupled up with Mary Bedford), but probably referencing *that* speech with Chloe.

"You knew that Toby was coming back with a girl because every time the camera panned to Hugo, his face said it all," one person wrote. Another said, "Please Hugo’s face when they asked if Toby was loyal ahahaha #LoveIsland."

Someone else put, "Hugo's face when Laura asked Abi if Toby is loyal LMAO" and "PLEASE. Hugo's face when Laura asked if toby was a loyal person."
