Yahoo Movies Everything Love Is Blind's SK and Raven have said about the cheating allegations
Love Is Blind's SK Alagbada responded to claims he cheated on partner Raven Ross at the end of 2022, amid new accusations she made in After The Altar, which landed on Netflix yesterday [10 February.]
During After the Altar, which picks up almost a year after the season three finale, SK and Raven reveal they plan to get married again, after he put on a romantic second proposal. But a Netflix disclaimer then pops up, which reads, "A few months later, the engagement ended."
Viewers join a tearful Raven sat on her sofa, revealing that the relationship ended because SK had allegedly cheated. "That really sucks. Since then, a lot has changed," she says of the second proposal. "My world is completely different because SK cheated on me and now our relationship is over."
Timeline wise, this would suggest the Reunion was filmed in summer 2022, because it was at the end of 2022 that SK gave a statement to Life & Style denying cheating on Raven. He said at the time: "All the allegations about me cheating are false."
SK went onto address the rumours he had been in a relationship with someone else, after the unnamed woman created a TikTok video claiming she and SK were together. He said: "At no point did we consider each other boyfriend and girlfriend. She is not my ex … The situation between [herself] and I was never formal.”
In October 2022, Raven and SK released a joint split statement saying they had broken up.
They said: "We are saddened to announce that we have decided to go our separate ways. Due to on-going legal proceedings surrounding these allegations, we can not provide additional details and ask that you please respect our privacy during this hard time.
"Thank you for following our story and believing in us. This journey has forever shaped our lives and we are so grateful for everyone who has been a part of it. Your love and support means everything."
The pair had met on Netflix's Love Is Blind in the summer of 2021 where they quickly fell in love and became engaged.
Despite a few ups and downs, the couple made it all the way down the aisle. However, the pair did not get married as SK said "no" to marrying Raven during the ceremony.
Following this, they delighted and shocked fans by announcing in the Love Is Blind reunion, that despite not getting married, they were dating.
SK has since addressed his relationship with Raven, telling Life & Style people have 'misconceptions' about the timeline of their relationship.
He said: "A lot of people have misconceptions about the timeline of our relationship. When Raven and I left the altar, I went about living my life as a single guy and she went about living her life as a single woman.
"The path leading to Raven and I together was not straightforward. It took a while for Raven and I to even consider or attempt to start dating again. People don’t realise that."
