A look inside Ivanka Trump's forgotten modeling years
Long before Ivanka Trump was a successful business woman or first daughter, she held another day job -- a model.
The then-teenage daughter of Donald Trump traveled the world in the late 1990s to walk the runways for some of fashion's most prestigious brands like Vivienne Westwood and Thierry Mugler. In fact, the blonde beauty became one of the first famous kids to sign with a major modeling agency despite many believing she wasn't model material.
Ivanka proved her doubters wrong, showing that she could indeed walk alongside some of the most sought-after models in the world.
While her stint in the modeling industry didn't last long, there's no denying it probably sparked her interest in fashion. Ivanka founded her own namesake brand years later, which now includes not only clothing, but purses, shoes and other accessories as well.
The former model has now taken on on a completely different role -- first daughter -- but her love for fashion is still apparent in every flawless outfit she rocks as she leaves her Washington D.C. abode every morning.
