Long Lines at Florida's Disney World for Limited-Edition Popcorn Bucket

People formed huge lines at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, January 16, for a chance to score a popcorn bucket shaped like Figment, the purple dragon mascot for the Epcot theme park’s “Imagination” pavilion.

The limited-edition buckets, which were filled with rainbow-colored popcorn, were being sold for $25 during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, which opened on January 14.

Visitors reported waiting in line for more than six hours on Friday, according to local media.

In the days that followed, some people who got their hands on the dragon-shaped bucket were auctioning them off online, with several having reached bids over $150.

By Sunday, reports said the buckets had almost sold out. This video shows the line at the theme park on Sunday. Credit: @rjnovelline via Storyful
