If you're anything like us then you will have spent the weekend binge-watching new detective fantasy show Lockwood & Co. Seriously, we're obsessed.

The eight-part drama is based on a series of books of the same name, by Jonathan Stroud and sees three teenagers, Lockwood, Lucy and George form a detective agency hunting ghosts. Free of financial motives and adult supervision, they begin to unravel a mystery that will change the course of history.

Lockwood & Co is seriously addictive thanks in part to the incredible dynamic between the three main cast members Lockwood (Cameron Chapman), George (Ali Hadji-Heshmati) and Lucy, played by Bridgerton's Ruby Stokes. And there's one scene full of tension between Lockwood and Lucy that viewers can't get enough of.

Whilst there are plenty of scenes that hint at their slow burning romance, we are of course talking about the moment between them in episode seven "Mesmerised". Lucy and Lockwood grip each other by the back of the head, with their foreheads touching as Lucy tries to calm Lockwood down during his panic attack about the death of the agent at the auction.

She manages to calm him down enough for the pair to be able to escape to safety, and viewers cannot get enough of the closeness and intensity between the two of them in the moment.

One viewer tweeted with gifs of the scene saying: "I think we need to talk about this." And others responded saying they loved the scene and how it humanised Lockwood.

Another tweeted a clip of the scene and said: "This scene lives in my head rent-free 24/7." A fan responded to the original tweet and said they had rewatched it many times. Yep, us too.

So yeah it's safe to say the internet is very much team Lucy and Lockwood, with everyone tweeting about their incredible chemistry and the subtle hints of a romance between them.

Whilst the couple don't actually get together in season one, we're really crossing our fingers that if a season two does get confirmed, our Lucy and Lockwood shipping dreams will come true.
