Little Caesars teases return of fan-favorite pizza for a limited time. What to know
Little Caesars is bringing back a “much-loved” pizza, but it won’t stick around for long, according to the restaurant chain.
The Pretzel Crust Pizza is back at participating Little Caesars for a limited time starting March 27, the pizza chain announced in a news release.
The pie features a “buttery-flavored soft pretzel crust pizza with creamy cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella and Muenster cheeses and pepperoni,” according to a product description. Pizza lovers have the option to add a cheese-stuffed crust, or traditional Little Caesars’ pizza sauce.
For $6.99, customers can pick-up a hot-n-ready Pretzel Crust Pizza in-store, or order carryout or delivery via the mobile app, the release reads. Additional fees may apply.
The soft pretzel crust pizza has amassed a following of “extremely vocal” fans since its 2014 debut, according to the Little Caesars website.
A Change.org petition calling for the pizza’s return collected more than 5,200 signatures in 2018 after the old favorite was scrubbed from the menu.
“Despite bringing it back several times, it feels like the pretzel fervor has not waned,” Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer for Little Caesars, said in a statement.
“We’re bracing ourselves for the predictable outcry on social media when it eventually goes away again,” Hamilton said.
