Yahoo Movies Lisa Rinna’s Response to Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick’s Breakup Is Epic
Yesterday, inevitable news broke that Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick had broken up after about 11 months of dating, which, yeah. Considering Scott has spent the past week dealing with fallout over those Younes Bendjima DMs, it isn’t that surprising. And while this entire experience has obviously been kinda a bummer for Amelia, one person who’s celebrating the end of her and Scott? That’d be her mom, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.
Lisa (who recently made headlines for musing, “Like, why can’t it be Harry Styles? Why the fuck is it Scott Disick?”) hopped into the comments of a Bravo fan account that reported on news of the split, simply dropping a smiley face emoji. I mean. A legend walks among us.
Oh, and reminder that a few days before the breakup, Lisa also posted the below photo of Harry Styles. Truly can’t believe I thought my mom had no chill when Amelia is out here dealing with this:
Anyway, a source tells Us Weekly that “Amelia was the one who ended things” with Scott, although the breakup “wasn’t related to the messages Scott sent about Kourtney” and “was coming regardless.”
Meanwhile, Amelia reposted a quote to her Insta Stories a few nights ago that said, “Never settle for less. Not with your jobs, your friends, and especially not with your heart. Continue to seek what you are looking for and do not shrink yourself for the sake of other people. You deserve the best.”
A source previously told Entertainment Tonight that “Amelia was definitely annoyed by Scott [allegedly] DM’ing Younes about Kourtney, but she’s not going to do anything about it and they’re still together.”
Obviously, things changed!
