Yahoo Movies Lisa Rinna just revealed the reason Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin split
Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin went their separate ways back in September after less than a year of dating, with many fans at the time left wondering what had caused the split.
While there's been plenty of speculation, it seems like Amelia's mum Lisa Rinna has now revealed the reason behind the breakup once and for all, and it makes a whole lot of sense.
Appearing on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show this week, Lisa discussed the end of Amelia and Scott's relationship with host Andy Cohen, leading to a fair few revelations.
Asked why the pair split and who "pushed the eject button first", Lisa replied, "I think you just have to read the press... and Amelia did," adding that the 20-year-old "made [the decision] all on her own."
Host Andy went on to ask whether the breakup was to do with the "DM exchange" Scott had gotten into, presumably referring to Scott's shady DM to Kourtney Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima.
Discussing the DM exchange, Lisa explained, "Well, I don't think that was helpful."
She continued, "There's never one reason why I think people split up," adding, "you know, now's the time to heal. Now's the time for everyone to heal."
To recap, back in August Younes shared a screenshot to his Instagram Story of an apparent message from Scott. The DMs in question saw Scott sending Younes a photo Kourtney had posted with her now-fiancé, Travis Barker.
In the screenshot, Scott says: "Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy [sic]."
Younes replied, "Doesn't matter to me as long as she's happy. PS: I ain't your bro." He also added separately, "Couldn't miss this one. He been playing around too long, tried to stay quiet and be the nice guy [sic]."
Well, it looks like the DMs seem to have had something to do with Amelia and Scott's split - according to Lisa, at least.
