Lindsay Lohan denies threatening to 'expose' CBS after mom Dina failed to win 'Big Brother'

Update: Lindsay Lohan now claims a former member of her team bashed CBS and that she had nothing to do with the statement.

“I have been made aware that further comments were added to my last Instagram post as to appear that I wrote them. Firstly, I can guarantee these comments were not made from me,” Lohan wrote on Instagram Saturday. “Sadly from investigation I have learned that a past member of my team who had access to my account made these changes. This matter has now been dealt with internally.”

She continued, “I want to personally thank CBS and Big Brother for giving my Mother this incredible opportunity and also to say how proud I am of my Mom for what she has achieved. Also MTV and Viacom for their wonderful support. Lastly, I want to thank those who made me aware of what was happening on my social media channels . Thank you.”

Lindsay Lohan took aim at CBS in a since-deleted rant on Instagram. This week, her mother, Dina, was kicked off Celebrity Big Brother after lasting 29 days, losing to Tamar Braxton.

“Finally #family @alianalohan #free @cbs_bigbrother you suck and get no Valentine’s from @lohanbeachclub @mtv,” the Lohan Beach Club star initially captioned the Instagram photo below on Thursday. “My mother is an AMAZING woman and she did so well.”

She added: “The secrets she told me a few hours ago are going to #EXPOSE #YOUALL #dinalohan #dfwm.”

Although Lindsay left the picture up, she eventually erased the caption. It’s unclear exactly what the 32-year-old actress-turned-reality-star is upset over, but she also blasted Braxton on Twitter, replying to a tweet from September 2017.

As for Dina Lohan, she was pretty pleased with how far she made it on the CBS show, calling it “hilarious and amazing.”

“I miss them all!” She told TV Guide of her co-stars. “It was an amazing ride, honestly. … I am so happy. It was all good for me, and I tried to put love wherever I could, and I got it back.” She even described herself “a superfan” of the show.

Perhaps Lindsay is also upset over how her mother’s potential catfish boyfriend became a national headline. Last week, Dina told her cast mates that she had been talking to “a special someone” for five years, although she has never met or even FaceTimed with this man.

“You know when you talk to someone on the phone, like you feel like you know them?” she explained. “He’s real. I swear, it’s crazy. But I’m going to marry him. It’s really, really true. I talk to his ma!”

For what it’s worth, Michael Lohan vouched for his ex-wife’s mystery boyfriend, calling him “a really nice guy.” Who knew that these two are friendly now? Now that’s a head-scratcher.
