Candidates for top U.S. national security and law enforcement jobs are being asked whether they believe President Donald Trump's false claims that he won the 2020 election and about its aftermath, the Washington Post reported on Saturday. Questions put to several current and former officials centered around the result of the election and the January 6, 2021, attacks on the Capitol, two issues that Trump has seen as matters of loyalty, the newspaper said, citing anonymous sources. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
