Lightning Illuminates Kansas Sky Amid Severe Weather Warnings

Lightning flashed over Salina, Kansas, on Saturday, May 8, as severe weather warnings were issued for the region, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings were in place for Salina on Saturday, with winds of up to 60 miles per hour and golf ball-sized hail possible, the NWS said.
