Liam Neeson's Son Micheál Makes TV Debut With His Dad In Super Bowl Ad

Micheál Neeson is a chip off the old block, then.

The 20-year-old budding actor son of Liam Neeson made his screen debut with his dad during the Super Bowl ads, in a Tron-inspired promo for the LG OLED TV.

The pair are seen sitting in a hotel bar, Neeson Sr supposedly ‘a man from the future’ playing with a deck of mysterious cards.

Micheál is soon being pursued by bad guys, as he flees from them on a futuristic motorbike on a Tron-esque track.

“Who are you?” asks Neeson Jr.

“Oh come now, I’ve already told you. The future is staring back at you,” replies his dad.

OK, what it might lack in coherent narrative, it makes up for in Neesons.

Micheál has already appeared playing a History Channel reporter in ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’, but has recently booked a strangely apt new role.

He’s confirmed to play Irish revolutionary Michael Collins in 'The Rising’, a forthcoming movie about the Easter Rising in 1916, during which Irish republicans engaged in an armed rebellion against British occupation.

Liam Neeson famously played the role in the 1996 biopic movie.

Neeson Jr will star alongside Colin Morgan as freedom fighter Sean McDermott, David O'Hara as revolutionary leader James Connolly and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as teacher, barrister, poet and Irish Republican Brotherhood leader Patrick Pearse.
