Levain Bakery's Iconic Cookies Are Now Available At Whole Foods Stores Nationwide

Enjoying Levain Bakery’s cookies—you know, the ones known for their crispy outside and gooey inside—no longer requires a trip to New York City. The iconic bakery is now selling its cookies in the freezer aisles at Whole Foods stores nationwide. All you have to do is pop them in the oven and they’ll be ready to devour in minutes.

The fully-baked Levain Bakery Frozen Cookies are hitting Whole Foods shelves over the next few weeks. They’re available in three classic flavors: Chocolate Chip Walnut, Two Chip Chocolate Chip, and Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip, which is a flavor that’s debuting exclusively at Whole Foods. They’re sold in boxes with eight 2-ounce cookies.

While smaller than the bakery’s OG cookies (roughly half of the size), they’re made using the same stellar recipe. To prepare the cookies, all you have to do is place them in a preheated oven or toaster oven for five to seven minutes. Once you let them sit for a minute, you can dig in!

Levain’s frozen cookies were first available to buy in select grocers in September 2020, but this is the first time they’ve become widely available across the country. So if you haven’t been able to make it to New York (or the bakery’s location in Washington, D.C.) to try the sweets from the shop IRL, let these frozen options tide you over until then!
