After President Trump abruptly ended his interview on 60 Minutes, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany appeared carrying a huge book and presented it to Lesley Stahl, who was waiting to see if the president would return. McEnany told Stahl it was Trump’s long-awaited healthcare plan. In the interview, Trump, as he’s been doing for months, promised the plan would be made public after the Supreme Court makes a decision on his administration’s efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act. While giving Stahl the book may have been an effort to satisfy Stahl’s curiosity about Trump’s healthcare plan, it did not have the desired effect. After having time to review the contents of the book, Stahl says in a voiceover as she is seen with the book, that it is filled with executive orders and congressional initiatives, but no comprehensive health plan.
