The U.S. on Tuesday imposed sanctions on a commander of Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, accusing him of being involved in human rights abuses in West Darfur, as Washington increases pressure over the war in the African nation. The U.S. Treasury Department in a statement said Abdel Rahman Juma Barkalla led the RSF's campaign in West Darfur, which the department said was marked by credible claims of serious human rights abuses, including the targeting of civilians, conflict-related sexual violence and ethnically-motivated violence.

2 People Killed by Rocket in Northern Israel
Two people were killed by a rocket strike on the Naharia area, in northern Israel, on Tuesday, November 12, Israel’s ambulance service said.Magen David Adom quoted medical technician Dor Vaknin, who said a warehouse in Naharia was hit by a rocket.“We arrived quickly at the scene, where there was significant destruction and an active fire,” Vaknin said, adding that two men were lying unconscious at the scene.“Unfortunately, their injuries were too severe, and after our assessments, we had to pronounce both of them deceased,” Vaknin said.The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that about 10 launches were detected in northern Israel from Lebanon on Tuesday. Boeing strike sinks October deliveries to 14 jets
Boeing said on Tuesday it delivered 14 commercial jets in October, less than half of the 34 jets it handed over to customers during the same month in 2023, after a weeks-long strike halted most of its aircraft production. Boeing is facing heightened oversight by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as it resumes output of its strongest-selling 737 MAX jets, along with 767, 777 and 777x models, after their production was halted during the strike which started on Sept. 12. Boeing 787 production in South Carolina was not affected by the strike.
