Hollie Arnold has become the first campmate to be evicted from I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! 2020, 12 nights after the launch of the series.

Tonight (27 November) saw the public vote for this year’s winner for the first time, with the Paralympian ultimately receiving the least votes.

Arnold said she was “devastated” by the decision, but that she had trained herself to be disappointed.

“You have to prepare in case it’s you, and that was just the best experience I’ve ever had,” she told presenters Ant and Dec.

Going into tonight’s show, bookmakers put Arnold, dancer AJ Pritchard, broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire and West End star Ruthie Henshall as the most likely to be voted out.

“I’ve enjoyed every single moment,” Arnold said. “Even eating the beans and rice!”

“I kind of had a feeling it might have been me,” she continued. “I’m slightly superstitious. But honestly, I love everybody in there and what their values are and what their friendships are and what they mean to me.”

"I tried my best and loved every second of it," Arnold said. “But my bra and knickers have to go in the bin.”

Finally, Arnold said that she hoped DJ Jordan North would ultimately be crowned the show’s victor, “because he’s so lovely”.

North is currently the odds-on favourite to take home the title of I’m a Celebrity’s first ever King of the Castle, but Giovanna Fletcher’s odds have improved in recent days.

“Jordan’s drifting like a barge and it’s only a matter of time before camp leader Giovanna takes over as favourite,” says Ladbrokes’ Jessica O’Reilly.

I’m a Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV.
