Laura Whitmore fans are convinced the star is having a baby girl after presenter Lorraine Kelly appeared to let the cat out of the bag.

The pregnant star was on ITV's Lorraine discussing her book No One Can Change Your Life Except For You, when Kelly seemed to let slip that she was expecting a baby girl.

"This book, this comes from personal experience, it's lessons you have learnt along the way, isn't it?” Kelly asked the Love Island presenter. “And also advice you want to pass on to your baby girl."

Despite the star’s rush to correct Kelly, fans are now positive that she and her husband Iain Stirling have a daughter on the way.

"I think #Lorraine just accidentally announced that Laura Whitmore is having a girl. Oops!" one person posted on Twitter.

"Maybe I missed something but did Lorraine just let slip that Laura Whitmore is having a baby girl?!" said another, adding the hashtags "#babygirl #catsoutofthebag #babyreveal".

Whitmore revealed in December that she was expecting the couple’s first child.

The 35-year-old posted a photo on Instagram of a Guns N' Roses themed baby grow with 'Sweet Child O' Mine' written on it.

"Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021," she wrote.

"It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.
