Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks have nearly 4,000 five-star reviews on Sephora’s website and 1,700 five star reviews on Ulta’s. Shoppers love how easy the eyeshadow is to apply and the formula’s blendability. You can swipe it on for full pigment or smudge it with your finger for a more sheer color. These sticks come in over 20 metallic and matte shades, and retail for $29.

“These go on so smoothly and last all day. I use them for eye liner and shadow,” wrote one Ulta reviewer. “The application is so easy!”

“Love the Caviar Eye Sticks! They really do stay on all day without getting in my eye creases!” wrote another.

Another reviewer wrote on Sephora — where they’re also available, but not always in stock — how easy they are to apply, especially for “eyeshadow novices.”

“I’m pretty bad at blending, smudging, patting — any of those fancy words associated with creating eye looks,” the reviewer said. “These sticks were made for someone like me. I can just dab it on my eye, and smooth it out with my ring finger for a decent everyday eye.”

Personally, I use the Metallic Taupe Caviar Stick all the time. Prior to the pandemic, I wore eyeliner and a full face of makeup almost every day. But in recent months, I’ve adopted a more minimal makeup routine — only applying a little concealer under the eyes, bronzer, mascara and this eyeshadow stick before Zoom calls. It’s creamy, yet doesn’t crease — and stays on all day long.

I recently ordered three more hues: Burnished Bronze, Rose Gold and Amethyst.

Take it from me: To brighten up your eyes, the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks are top-notch — especially when hiding the rest of your face behind a mask.
