Latest 'Rogue One' Toys Include New-Look Jyn Erso, Hovertank Pilot, Big Cassian Blaster (Exclusive)

We are down to the final week before the shiniest new Star Wars gear hits the shelves, and with the end of the tunnel — or, should we say, trench? — in sight, Yahoo Movies got the first look at five retail exclusives coming to your local big box from toy maker Hasbro.

Of the quintet, three are based on characters from the upcoming Rogue One. There are 6-inch action figures from the company’s deluxe “Black Series” line featuring the heroine, Jyn Erso, atop a mountain base (and with a mysterious accessory), and an Imperial hovertank pilot — the specialized trooper who commands the urban-assault vehicle featured in the film’s teaser. These will be available at, respectively, Kmart and Toys “R” Us. Then there’s a Nerf blaster modeled after the one wielded by Captain Cassian Andor of the Rebellion coming, appropriately enough, to Target. Let’s take a close look at those first.

While Rogue One is getting the most play among the new toys, old-school fans willing to trek to Walmart can find the droid they’re looking for in the form of a programmable, interactive R2-D2. The astromech can be controlled via a smartphone app for iOS and Android devices.

Finally, fans of the old Expanded Universe, now know as Star Wars Legends, will revel in the voice-changing Shadow Trooper helmet, featuring the dark-armored Imperial bad guys who popped up in several novels, comics, and the Battlefront video game—and shouldn’t be confused with the black-suited Death Troopers of Rogue One. This helmet will only be available at Amazon.

These and the previously announced new Star Wars toys will be available Sept. 30.
