Christmastime has arrived once again, and that likely means that your household has a lot of shopping to get done. Whether you need to check off a few more Christmas gifts off your list, pick up some last-minute stocking stuffers or you’re looking to stock up on ingredients for your Christmas dinner recipes, chances are that you’ll want to make a run to your closest Walmart. The one-stop-shop retailer has everything: household essentials, tech items, games and grocery necessities, so you’ll likely have every reason to want to know Walmart’s Christmas hours.

FYI: Many retailers and grocery stores (including Costco, Wegman's and The Home Depot) typically close for the holidays.

What are Walmart's Christmas Hours in 2022?

Walmart is closed on Christmas Day. December 25th is actually the only day of the year that Walmart is closed. On the day after Christmas, December 26th, Walmart will resume regular hours.

Most Walgreens, CVS and Rite-Aid locations will be open on December 25 (among other stores) — though be sure to double-check your local store's schedule. Just be sure to check your local store's hours before visiting, as hours for many big-box stores are subject to change.
