Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Rams: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 14 matchup

Davante Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders (5-7) look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive when they face coach Sean McVay's Los Angeles Rams (3-9).

The Rams are off to a historically bad start for a defending Super Bowl champion and now square off against a talented team just starting to catch a bit of fire. Will the Rams lose a 10th game in 14 contests, or will Aaron Donald and Co. come up with a home victory over a Raiders squad that has fallen below expectations? The game will kick off Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET from SoFi Stadium.

Here's a look at the betting details and USA TODAY's NFL staff picks for the Raiders vs. Rams Week 14 game:

Lorenzo Reyes: Raiders 25, Rams 10

Las Vegas has won its last three games, covering each of them. The only issue is the competition, absent their Week 12 overtime victory against the Seahawks, has been subpar. The banged-up Rams who are reeling, shelving Matthew Stafford, are very much subpar.

Richard Morin: Rams 21, Raiders 20

The Rams claimed Baker Mayfield. He leads the defending Super Bowl champions to a prime-time victory Thursday. It's just crazy enough to work — and the Rams' defense will step up at home to keep it close enough for an upset.

Lance Pugmire: Raiders 30, Rams 14

Flexing their status as L.A.’s most popular team, the Silver and Black roll to a fourth consecutive victory in their home-away-from-home while the Rams can’t even take solace in the benefit of a lofty draft pick. It’s been traded.
