Lakers' Russell Westbrook left bloodied after flagrant 2 foul from Spurs' Zach Collins

Los Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook was on the receiving end of a hard blow to the forehead that left him gushing blood against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.

With 2:00 remaining in the third quarter, Westbrook went up for a layup and was elbowed in the head by Spurs forward Zach Collins, who attempted to block his shot. The bloodied Westbrook charged Collins after the brutal hit, while Lakers teammate LeBron James held him back and placed a towel over his bleeding forehead.

Collins' foul was upgraded to a flagrant 2 and he was automatically ejected from the contest. Collins finished the night with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks and one steal in 19 minutes of work off the bench.

Westbrook was assessed a technical foul on the play. He made one of two technical free throws before he exited the game for the locker room with the Lakers up 100-93.
