Lacey Turner reveals baby son's 'cool' and unusual name
EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed her new son's unusual name - but it isn't totally unique as he is called after the sister of an old friend.
The actor, who plays Stacey Slater in the BBC soap, welcomed her second child recently when he was born prematurely at 36 weeks.
Now, she has shared his "cool" name - Trilby Fox.
Turner told OK! magazine: "I always thought it was such a cool name. I knew a girl once and her sister was called Trilby Fox and I always thought it was such a cool name, and I quite liked it for a boy, so I've had it in my head for a really long time."
She added that despite it being unusual, she thought it would be easy to clarify when telling people his name.
Turner said: "It’s nice because when people say, 'What's his name?' you say, 'Trilby, like the hat.' When we had Dusty, we said, 'Dusty, like Dusty Springfield'."
She and husband Matt Kay are also parents to daughter Dusty Violet, who was born in July 2019. The couple had suffered two miscarriages before Dusty was born.
Trilby Fox made his early arrival on February 3 weighing just 6lb and Turner also spoke to the magazine about the trauma of his early days in hospital.
She said: "It's so strange to see your baby strapped up to loads of wires but he's doing really well now."

Despite his early birth, Turner revealed that she had returned to the EastEnders set just days later to film some scenes before starting her maternity leave.
She said she had sent a text saying she wouldn't be in work "today or the next day" but was happy to return the following week to finish a couple of scenes.
Fans will not see Stacey on Albert Square for a while as Turner is taking a six-month maternity leave and said she hoped to be able to spend some of it at her home in Ibiza before returning to work in August.
