Kylie Jenner Hits Back at Forbes Taking Away Her Billionaire Title: 'I Thought This Was a Reputable Site'

Kylie Jenner has responded to Forbes' explosive report revoking her billionaire title and claiming she inflated her net worth. The Kylie Cosmetics founder posted a Twitter thread attacking the outlet and its claim the Kardashian-Jenners may have forged her tax returns. Forbes estimates Jenner's net worth at just under $900 million now, for what it's worth. It also detailed the lengths that Jenner's family went to in order to convince people of their wealth. It reports the Kardashian-Jenners invited the outlet "into their mansions and CPA’s offices, and even creating tax returns that were likely forged." You can read the full report here.

"what am i even waking up to," Jenner started. "i thought this was a reputable site.. all i see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. i’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period."

“'Even creating tax returns that were likely forged' that’s your proof?" Jenner continued. "So you just THOUGHT they were forged? like actually what am i reading."

Jenner then insisted she was unbothered by it. "but okay. i am blessed beyond my years, i have a beautiful daughter, and a successful business and i’m doing perfectly fine." She also acknowledged the fact that with the coronavirus pandemic, George Floyd killing, and general chaos of U.S. news right now, her net worth isn't all too important.

"i can name a list of 100 things more important right now than fixating on how much money i have," she continued. She also commented on a user's tweet who was like, "this is what you're worried about now?"

"this is literally the LAST thing i’m worried about right now," she wrote.

And there you have it: an almost-billionaire taking shots at Forbes—then saying she doesn't care, and you shouldn't either.
