In Paris for Couture Week, Kylie Jenner decided to show her little girl Stormi Webster the ropes and dressed her in an outfit to match her own.
Arriving at a party for Valentino, Jenner wore a black crepe Maison Valentino strapless body-con dress with a short train, accessorized with black satin heels, a black handbag, and gold earrings. Stormi, who is soon to turn six, got a long-sleeve black dress, patent leather Mary Janes, and a tiny bag of her own.
Though Jenner's are more elaborate, her gold earrings pick up on her daughter's gold hoops.
Both ladies added boas and sunglasses to create an even more fabulous look. (It's possible that Jenner's boa is attached to a jacket or maybe a shawl, but it's quite hard to tell.)
In a video posted to Instagram by a fan account (and later shared by Jenner on Stories), we can see that the back of Jenner's dress is tied into two bows, in keeping with the current trend.
Stormi wore her hair pulled back into a ponytail that shows off her curls, and her smile reveals that, however famous and stylish she might be, all Kindergarteners eventually lose a few teeth!
Just a normal mother and daughter doing normal mother and daughter stuff. We have to assume Stormi's school takes Fashion Week off, right?
Jenner's intentionally messy burn reflects her current less-is-more hair philosophy. She looked “lazy hot” at the Jean Paul Gaultier show and recently threw a bubblegum pink wig on for funsies (and to change the narrative after that Golden Globes gossip drama).
Jenner recently opened up about how she explains her rather unorthodox life to her daughter, telling Jennifer Lawrence that, in Stormi's words, Jenner's job is “Mommy makes makeup.”
“Stormi was playing with my makeup yesterday,” she added. “She loves putting on a red lip every once in a while…just around the house, obviously. And I like to always show her my name’s on the lipstick. I’m like, ‘This is Mommy’s lipstick. Your mom’s really cool.’” Taking your daughter to Couture Week is pretty cool.
