Will Kyle Larson win his third straight race? NASCAR schedule + TV for Kansas Speedway

The NASCAR playoffs make their awaited return to Kansas Speedway this weekend for a pair of round-of-8 races in the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity series.

The main event of the weekend is Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400, which will be broadcast on the NBC Sports TV channel starting at 2 p.m. Central Time. It’s the second of three races in the NASCAR Cup playoffs’ round of 8.

Last weekend, Kyle Larson won the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway — his eighth victory this season and second in a row — to become the first driver to advance to the NASCAR Cup championship race that’s scheduled for Nov. 7 at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Ariz.

Larson has won three of the last five playoff races and is closing in on the series record for most laps led in a 36-race season.

But before the Hollywood Casino 400 revs up Sunday, Kansas Speedway plays host to a doubleheader of racing on Saturday.

The Xfinity Series’ Kansas Lottery 300 starts at 2 p.m. Saturday on NBC, followed by this season’s final ARCA Menards race, the Reese’s 150 Championship, at 6 p.m. (the broadcast for the Reese’s 150 is available only through NBC’s TrackPass). This is the 10th straight year the ARCA Menards championship will be decided at Kansas Speedway.

One ticket admits fans to both Saturday races. Tickets, and more information about them, can be found at kansasspeedway.com/ticket-central/.
