Knife-Wielding Man Threatens Grocery Store Staff Before Making Off With Cash

A man filmed threatening grocery store staff with a knife during one of a series of robberies in 2021 has been jailed for 12 years, Greater Manchester Police said.

CCTV footage of the incident shows a masked and hooded man entering a Morrisons grocery store on Albert Royds Street, Rochdale, on November 13, 2021. The man is seen forcing a member of staff behind the counter, grabbing scratch cards from a shelf, and waiting for a member of staff to fill a bag with cash before leaving the store.
