King Charles has been keeping positive amid his cancer battle, but has also been having his moments where he's ready for his life to go back to normal before finding out he was sick.

“He’s in good spirits,” Charles' nephew, Peter Phillips, said in an March 24 interview with Sky News Australia. “I think, ultimately, he’s hugely frustrated. He’s frustrated that he can’t get on and do everything that he wants to be able to do. But he is very pragmatic, [and] he understands that there’s a period of time that he really needs to focus on himself.”

Phillips is Princess Anne (Charles' sister) and Captain Mark Phillips' son; he is also the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.

“He is always pushing, his staff and everybody and his doctors and nurses, to be able to say, ‘Actually come on, you know, can I do this? Can I do that?’” he added of Charles. “So the overriding message would be that he’s obviously very keen to get back to a form of normality. And he’s probably frustrated that recovery is taking a little longer than probably he would want it to.”

The update on Charles' cancer battle comes amid Kate Middleton announced in an intimate video shared on March 23 that she, too, had been recently diagnosed with cancer while recovering from her major abdominal surgery. Middleton's admission came after several royal observers expressed concern about her lack of presence in the public eye.
