Kiko Kostadinov’s SS22 Womenswear Campaign Brings Dystopian Beachwear to London

London-based brand Kiko Kostadinov released its new womenswear campaign for Spring/Summer 2022, developed by creative duo Laura and Deanna Fanning.

Shot at Half Moon Bay in Black Rock, Australia, the full campaign comes shortly after the brand showcased its SS22 show at London Fashion Week in September. Drawing inspiration from the Fanning’s home in Australia, the collection takes cues from summertime, utilising fabrics like linen and light cotton fused with ribbed knitwear. Silhouettes are draped and layered for a casual approach, and arrive in vivid colors and clashing striped prints.

Starring models Dechen and Olympia, the campaign was shot and styled by Sydney-based photographer Gadir Rajab. Sharing the images on their Instagram page, the Fanning sisters said that the campaign was "Shot beach side, on the land of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nations." The duo added "Thank you so much to the team, time and space aligned for all of us to be home right at that moment to shoot on location in Australia."
