Kevin Bacon returns to his horror roots in ‘You Should Have Left’

Kevin Bacon teams up for a second time with writer/director David Koepp in the psychological thriller “You Should Have Left.” The two previously worked on the 1999 horror flick, “Stir of Echoes.” Bacon tells Yahoo Entertainment he and Koepp were looking for the right project and he just kept “chipping away” until they found one. “I was trying to get him to collaborate with me on another one … and wore him down after 20 years,” Bacon says. “You Should Have Left” centers around a house. Bacon’s character just can’t escape the supernatural terror of a modern residence set in Wales. “The house becomes this character in the film,” he says. Bacon’s horror history goes all the way back to the 1980 original “Friday the 13th.”
