New Kendrick Lamar music video features two famous Fort Worth locations. Check it out

The music video for Kendrick Lamar’s “N95” sees the Compton rapper hovering in a crucifix pose over crashing ocean waves, doing an intense workout on a rooftop and sitting calmly as a crashed car barrels next to him.

But what may have caught the eye of Lamar’s North Texas fans the most is the use of two famous Fort Worth locations in the video.

At the :53 mark of the video, Lamar is seen sitting in the Renzo Piano Pavilion at the Kimbell Art Museum. The black and white shot displays the building’s use of natural lighting as the sun silhouettes Lamar and a grand piano.

At the 1:24 mark, Lamar is seen walking down the steps of the iconic Wet Wall and Quiet Pool located at the Fort Worth Water Gardens in downtown.

The location is seen a few more times in the video, with one shot of Lamar flipping the bird at the camera.

The “N95” single is the first from Lamar’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,” which was released on Friday.

The music video was the #2 trending video on YouTube Music as of Monday morning, with the number one spot being another Lamar music video for the promotional song “The Heart Part 5.”

In 2019, singer Solange also used the iconic water gardens landmark in her “Almenda” music video.

Lamar is scheduled to stop at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the “Big Steppers Tour” on July 23.
