Keke Palmer reveals her pregnancy in *the* best way

In case you've somehow missed it, 2022 was a *major* year for Keke Palmer. Not only did she lend her voiceover talents to Toy Story spinoff Lightyear, she also played a main role in the Oscars-hyped Jordan Peele alien epic Nope. So far, so out of this world.

To top off a phenomenal year, Keke hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live yesterday - a major milestone which has previously been carried out by the likes of Adele and Megan Thee Stallion.

To mark the occasion, Keke decided to weigh in on baby rumours which she explained had begun to circulate. During her opening monologue, she said; “People have been in my comments, saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby,’ ‘Keke’s pregnant,’ and I want to set the record straight.” At this point, she burst open her jacket to reveal a baby bump and declared; “I am!”

“I gotta say though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumours about you ya’ll, but it’s even worse when they’re correct," she said.

“I was trying so hard to keep it on the down-low ’cause I got a lot of stuff going on,” she then continued. “You know, people kept coming up to me, ‘Congratulations,’ and I’m like, ‘Shh, can y’all stop? I got a liquor sponsorship on the line.”

Pretty major right? The 29-year-old is expecting her first baby with her boyfriend Darius Jackson, who she reportedly met a year and a half ago. Darius is the younger brother of actor Sarunas Jackson, who you may recognise from his role as Alejandro/ 'Dro' in Insecure.

Congrats to the couple!
