A man accused of the rape and murder of a barmaid as he walked her home after a night out also allegedly attacked another girl on her 16th birthday, a court has heard.

Wesley Streete, 20, is on trial accused of killing Keeley Bunker, 20, before dumping her body in undergrowth in a park.

Bunker was discovered lying face down in a pond hours after she was reported missing when she failed to return home from a rap concert.

A court heard her partially-clothed body was found by her uncle covered by branches in Wigginton Park, Tamworth, Staffordshire, at around 9pm on 19 September last year.

She had her leggings and underwear pulled partially down and had been strangled to death, a jury was told.

Streete, who is on trial at Stafford Crown Court, denies two further counts of rape, three sex assaults and one count of sexual activity with a child, relating to three other women.

One of the other alleged victims, now 20, took the stand on Wednesday to claim that Streete had forced her to perform a sex act on him four years previously.

Jurors also heard how Streete sexually assaulted the same woman in her house weeks after the first alleged attack.

The court was told previously how Streete murdered Bunker after meeting up with her and best friend Monnique Riggon for a night clubbing in Birmingham.

Bunker and Riggon had been to watch rapper Aitch at the O2 Arena before joining Streete at Snobs nightclub where he was described as being "very drunk".

The court heard they then caught a taxi back to Tamworth together before Streete offered to walk Bunker home.

Jurors were told she declined to sleep over at Riggon's because she wanted to get home and told her friend: "I’ve got Wes, Wes will walk me back, it’ll be fine."

Bunker, who celebrated her birthday just days earlier, never returned home and never attended a job interview scheduled later that day.

Relatives organised a search party to go looking for Bunker before her body was found.

Streete, of no fixed address, denies the charges.

The trial, which is expected to last three weeks, continues.
