We love to see all the amazing and important work Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is doing, and the bonus? Getting to admire her beautiful, oh-so-subtle hair tweaks.

Colour wise, she's more or less kept her signature brunette hue, apart from going lighter than ever back in November last year, and the recent addition of some subtle caramel highlights.

There seems to be more wiggle room when it comes to how she styles her hair - switching between a bouncy blow dry (think Friends' Rachel Green circa the '90s) and a super-sleek, just-dusted-off-the-hair-straighteners 'do.

The absolute cutest was when she recreated her bridal hair to visit Westminster Abbey, where her and Wills got married ten years previous .Ok, it could be a massive coincidence, but it could also be that Kate is a huge romantic at heart.

Kate didn't disappoint for her latest public appointment on International Day of the Midwife, which saw her interview midwife Harriet Nayiga for the May edition of Nursing Times.

When pictures emerged of Kate 's chat with Harriet, who spoke of her work in Uganda as a nurse and as the founder of MILCOT (Midwife-led Community Transformation), we couldn't help but notice the effort Kate had gone to with her hair, especially as the most elaborate part of her 'do could not be seen on screen.

The back section (visible in the second picture below) was pinned into her favoured half-up style, with the ends twisted elaborately and gently curled at the ends.

Keep up the good work, Kate - we wish we could look half as turned out as you on our work Zoom calls...
