ReutersItaly's biggest bank Intesa says all tech issues resolved
MILAN (Reuters) -Intesa Sanpaolo has resolved all technical issues that made it difficult for clients to access its home banking app on Monday, a spokesperson for Italy's biggest bank said, after users reported problems with the services earlier in the day. "Pension payments which were due on Monday will be regularly credited with a Dec. 2 date," the person added. Intesa has made a technology upgrade to switch to a cloud IT infrastructure, a key target under CEO Carlo Messina.

A majority of Supreme Court justices didn't seem convinced Monday that federal regulators misled companies as they refused to allow them to sell sweet flavored vaping products following a surge in teen e-cigarette use. The court did raise questions about Food and Drug Administration crackdown that included denials of more than a million nicotine products formulated to taste like fruit, desert or candy. Teen vaping use has since dropped to a decade low, but the agency could change its approach after the inauguration next month of President-elect Donald Trump, who has promised to “save” vaping.

Tyson Foods to close Kansas meat plant, cutting more than 800 jobs
Tyson Foods will permanently close a meat plant in Emporia, Kansas, that employs more than 800 people, according to a letter the company sent to the state on Monday. The job cuts are the latest blows to America's heartland from the biggest U.S. meat company by sales. Tyson has also closed six U.S. chicken plants since the start of 2023 and an Iowa pork plant, laying off thousands of workers.
