Karlie Kloss has shared the first photograph of her son after giving birth last month.

The American model welcomed her first child with husband Joshua Kushner, whom she married in 2018, on 11 March.

On Friday, Kloss posted a photograph of herself with her son on Instagram.

The photo is a close-up shot of Kloss’s hand holding that of her baby.

In the image, Kloss can be seen wearing a gold ring on her index finger that spells out the word “mama”.

Kloss captioned the image with her son’s name: “Levi Joseph”.

Levi is a Jewish surname that translates to “joining” in Hebrew. Joseph, meanwhile, comes from the Hebrew word “yasaf”, which means “to increase”.

The post has already garnered more than 247,000 likes and thousands of comments, including one from model Tyra Banks, who wrote, “hey mama”.

The Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima also commented, writing: “congratulations mama”, while actor Lily Collins commented with a series of love heart emojis.

Fellow mother and model Ashley Graham wrote: “I can’t wait to meet you Levi!! Play dates are going to be so fun!!”

Other famous faces to offer their congratulatory comments included model Lily Aldridge, the celebrity stylist Karla Welch, and model Carolyn Murphy.

The couple tied the knot in October 2018 in an intimate ceremony in upstate New York.

Kloss wore a custom Dior gown for the ceremony that famously took more than 700 hours to create.

The dress had a V-neckline made of sheer lace and featured matching sheer lace long sleeves.

They held a second more lavish ceremony eight months later with a party in Wyoming with famous attendees including Orlando Bloom ,Katy Perry and journalist Derek Blasberg.

Kloss and Kushner, who is the brother of Ivanka Trump’s husband Jared, have been together since 2012.
