Kanye West has had a lot to say about ex Kim Kardashian lately, speaking about their relationship in a new sit-down interview.
Discussing various aspects of the pair's relationship and family, including why he isn't happy with Kim over daughter North West's TikTok, Kanye also touched on the pair's divorce - calling out fellow celeb duo, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, in the process.
Referencing his split from Kim during the chat, the rapper told Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee, 'We’re not going for a "Will and Jada" because everybody got problems on both sides.'
While Kanye didn't expand on his comparison to the Smiths, it's thought that the rapper is referring to Will and Jada's famous tell-all chat on Jada's Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk. At the time, the Smiths had their viral 'entanglement' discussion, during which Jada revealed to Will that she'd had a relationship with singer August Alsina.
Aside from the Will-Jada reference, elsewhere in the interview Kanye revealed the reason why he's unhappy with Kim over their eight-year-old daughter North's TikTok. He told Lee, 'Don't have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok — or don't have her on TikTok at all — if I'm not there to approve that.'
The rapper went on to add that he thinks North's online presence 'was done without me knowing', which he claims is 'poking the bear, trying to antagonise me and create this "crazy" narrative'.
Kanye also told the host, 'Tell her [Kim] security are not finna [going to] come between me and my kids,' in reference to his recent claims that 'security stopped' him when he arrived at daughter Chicago's birthday party.
In addition to North, eight, Kim and Kanye also share children Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two.
