Kansas State’s upset victory over Oklahoma left Fox Sports’ Skip Bayless dumbfounded

After Kansas State jumped to a 14-0 lead against Oklahoma on Saturday in Norman, Fox Sports talk-show host Skip Bayless let his thumbs do the talking.

“Same time next year: A Kansas State team that just suffered a bad loss (see last few seasons) just got right up off the canvas and punched the Sooners I grew up loving RIGHT IN THE MOUTH IN NORMAN. 14-0,” Bayless wrote on Twitter. “Against OU, KSt is Georgia. This is big trouble.”

Bayless was right because the Sooners ended up losing 41-34 to Kansas State.

When it was over, Bayless shared his thoughts on Twitter, saying he had never been more stunned by an outcome of a game.

Bayless’ disbelief was noted by a number of people, including one of the Wildcats’ most fervent fans.

Actor/Kansas State fan/“Big Slick” co-host Eric Stonestreet responded to Bayless.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas also tweeted back at Bayless.

The Wildcats’ victory caught the eye of voters in the Associated Press college football poll. K-State is ranked 25th.
