Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 14 matchup

Russell Wilson's Denver Broncos (3-9) may have the NFL's most broken offense, and things don't get any easier when they host Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs (9-3).

The Chiefs will be looking to take down somebody after their Week 13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Broncos look like a good target on paper. However, the Denver defense is still one of the most formidable in the NFL and shouldn't be taken lightly. The game is scheduled to kick off Sunday at 4 p.m. ET from Mile High Stadium.

Here's a look at the betting details and USA TODAY's NFL staff picks for the Chiefs vs. Broncos Week 14 game:

Lorenzo Reyes: Chiefs 29, Broncos 13

This is an interesting matchup because Kansas City, despite its potency and stretches of dominance, hasn’t been a reliable play, covering just four games this season. The Broncos, meanwhile, are a mess. I just have a hard time backing a team averaging 13.8 points per game, even when the line is almost double digits.

Richard Morin: Chiefs 38, Broncos 12

This one will be tough to watch if you're a Broncos fan. I don't expect the downtrodden Wilson to find the end zone. The Denver offense will manage all its offense via four field goals. The Chiefs, meanwhile, continue to roll.

Lance Pugmire: Chiefs 34, Broncos 13

Start the clocks. With Mahomes intent to set aside the loss to the Bengals, the question is how long it will take Denver fans to flee the premises in the latest episode of the unsightly investment into Wilson.

Jarrett Bell: Chiefs 30, Broncos 16

Nate Davis: Chiefs 23, Broncos 16
