Kansas City area health code violations: Sushi Karma, Big Biscuit, Crazy Good Eats BBQ, more

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).

Sushi Karma Asian Bistro + Bar, 5820 Johnson Drive, Mission, had 13 priority violations during a Dec. 5 routine inspection.

Speedway Super Store, 4746 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had nine priority violations during a Dec. 5 routine inspection.

The Big Biscuit, 13505 S. Mur-Len Road, Suite 107, Olathe, had eight priority violations during a Dec. 5 routine inspection.

Bichelmeyer Meats, 704 Cheyenne Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 1 routine inspection.

Bob Evans, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1704 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 4 follow-up inspection.

Crazy Good Eats, 16695 W. 151st St., Olathe, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 1 routine inspection.

Sonic Drive-In, 9801 Quivira Road, Overland Park, had seven priority violations during a Dec. 1 routine inspection.

Jacksonville C-store, 10635 Kaw Drive, Edwardsville, had seven priority violations during a Nov. 28 licensing inspection.

Shisha Room Hookah Lounge, 1415 W. 39th St., had eight critical violations during a Nov. 27 routine inspection.

The Bistro, Courtyard by Marriott at Briarcliff, 4000 N. Mulberry Drive, had seven critical violations during a Dec. 4 routine inspection.

The Blue Line, River Market, 529 Walnut St., had seven critical violations during a Dec. 1 routine inspection.

Discount Smokes & Liquor, 4019 Independence Ave., had seven critical violations during a Dec. 2 routine inspection.

Patrick’s Bar & No Grill, 8251 Wornall Road, had seven critical violations during a Nov. 23 routine inspection. It had no critical violations during a Dec. 1 follow-up inspection.

Westport Flea Market Bar & Grill, 817 Westport Road, had seven critical violations during a Nov. 29 routine inspection.
